Does it cost anything to come to the meetings?

Apart from buying your own coffee and cake, no it does not cost any thing to come along. The group is run on a voluntary basis by Kerry Taylor (Serenity Births) and Jayn Stapleton (your-doula

I'm not sure if I want a homebirth, will I be under pressure to go ahead with it?

There is absolutely no pressure to go ahead with a homebirth if you decided that it's not for you. Our meetings are for people to find out more about homebirths and to get support if they wish to go ahead. We do realise that there are situations where it may be preferable to give birth in a hospital, this pregnancy. 

Can I bring my other children?

Yes of course, however, please remember to bring something for them to do as they might find it boring!

Can I come to the group after the birth?

Yes. We love to see the new babies and to hear all about the birth, whether it ended up being at home or in hospital. It is always valuable to  hear the experiences that women have had.

I don't live in Worthing, can I still come?

Yes you are very welcome to come where ever you live. We regularly have people from Shoreham, Steyning, Pulbourough, Littlehampton and Horsham coming to the group.
